WORKSHOP SYNOPSIS:
Few things are more painful in business and industry than a process that is down when urgently needed to satisfy customer demand. It’s usually a mad scramble to get the process back up and running, sometimes even before it is truly ready. This scramble costs a great deal of employee time, but that is far from the only loss caused by process downtime. Downtime also impairs the organization’s flexibility, directly impacts the bottom line and marketplace reputation, and, yes, even costs it customers. But it doesn’t have to be that way. By looking at the causes of process downtime, techniques can be applied that will minimize or eliminate the downtime at its sources. This course will focus on the causes of process downtime and then cover the techniques needed to reduce process downtime and eliminate the wastes and costs associated with it.
