WORKSHOP SYNOPSIS:

This two-day workshop provides you with the understanding to develop a Six Sigma philosophy with a focus on eliminating defects through fundamental process knowledge.  It integrates principles of business, statistics, and engineering to achieve tangible results.

Six Sigma is a philosophy, a way of life, a science – all of these and more. The best companies are doing it – G.E., Motorola, Raytheon, Xerox, and perhaps your customers too. We’ve been there right from the start, working along side the fine people of these companies, to achieve dramatic improvements in quality and reliability.

In these companies, and others like them, Six Sigma is becoming a way of doing business, that focuses resources and energy on continuously improving processes until they are defect-free, virtually incapable of producing anything but a top quality product.

Six Sigma tools are used to identify and improve the processes and products of a company. In most companies, process variability alone is a major target of Six Sigma improvement activity. Six Sigma seeks to identify critical processes, and causes of variation in those processes, to achieve significant improvement where it counts the most.

This workshop offers a wealth of tangible benefits. Upon completion, you will be able to:

  • Reduce costs through a self-funded approach to improvement
  • Reduce “waste” related to variation and defects
  • Provide a better understanding of customer requirements
  • Improve delivery and quality performance
  • Provide critical process inputs needed to respond to changing customer requirements
  • Develop robust designs, products and processes
  • Drive improvements rapidly utilizing internal resources
